Fellowship Capstone Projects

The Final Step of the CWFL Fellowship:

The  Center for Women, Faith & Leadership Fellowship's end is marked by the completion of a Capstone Project. Pertaining to a variety of issues facing women of faith the world over, the Capstones will help to further our mission of catalyzing religious freedom on a global scale.

Reyhana Patel, a Caribbean/Canadian fellow, created a training manual for her
Capstone Project.

Violence Against Women and Girls: Re-Evaluating Traditional Islamic Understandings serves to open eyes and minds to a modern, inclusive interpretation of the Qur'an, and correct past misconceptions by Muslims and non-Muslims alike.

Zubayra Shamseden, a USA/Uyghur fellow, designed an informational piece which describes the plight of the Uyghur people in Xinjiang province, China.

Zubayra's capstone is filled with valuable and matchless content, giving an accurate and complete description of the Uyghur people and the oppression they suffer. It tells the stories of several detained Uyghur women, outlines the terrible conditions of the re-education camps in Xinjiang, and tells you how you can help.
